Ivyclan's first deputy

Lakestar quickly and swifty made her way to the Hollow Branch. She quickly sat atop and yowled "May all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather below hollow branch for a clan meeting.".

Cinderleaf trotted out of the warriors' den, keeping silent. As she came up to join her Clanmates underneath the Hollow Branch, she couldn't help but wonder if this was the deputy ceremony. She wondered who Lakestar would choose. Would it be her? Or another eligible warrior?
But I'd probably never be chosen to be the deputy. I mean, imagine it, the next leader for StarClan's sake. Choosing me would be...bizzare! She thought.

Doepaw was one of the first to be underneath the Hollow Branch. She loved Clan meetings! At least she did when they weren't about something tragic or angering. She glanced around as a few older cats began coming over. Nothing exciting seemed to be going on right now...except for the fact that there was no deputy! She looked around at the warrior frantically, not knowing which one would be the future. Maybe it would be her sister, Maplenose!
If Maplenose became the deputy, then maybe she'd make me the deputy after she became the leader!

Maplenose padded up to sit beside her younger sister, Doepaw. Her brown and white tail rested gently on the apprentices' shoulders.
"Don't get too excited now. Don't place your bets on any one cat, it's usually going to be someone who you don't expect." She told her sister quietly. She lifted her brown gaze to look respectfully at Lakestar, but even she couldn't help but wonder who it would be...the new deputy of IvyClan.

Lilypaw padded up to go sit under Hollowbranch as she heard her leaders call. She had a feeling that this would be for the new deputy and she looked around at the warriors, wondering who it would be.

"I have gathered you all here today for a special ceremony. I would like to say that they have worked hard to be who they are today. I have not known them for my whole life, nor have they, But I have a special sense that trusting them is the best awnser." She took a few moments to let that sink in. "And without furthur-a-do I announce the name of our new deputy!" She let the excitement rise before she spoke again. "And I Lakestar of Ivyclan hereby grant the trust of me and this clan in the single paws of this cat, their duty is to serve the clan and preserve the title of leader." "Cinderleaf! Congratulations!" And with that she jumped off of the Hollow branch  and went back into her den.

While she was in her den worry spread across her face. Now what to do about the other clan....

OOC: I believe it was Cinderleaf that I signed up for deputy...I'll make this post be about Cinderleaf.

IC: Had it really been her? Her that been chosen for deputy? She almost did a double take. This was beyond exciting. Beyond amazing. Cinderleaf had never imagined that this would happen. As the cheers of her Clanmates began to sink in, she smiled a proud and happy smile, "I will serve IvyClan well until the day I die!" She promised.

"Cinderleaf, Cinderleaf!" She cheered, standing up beside her sister and mentor. She had been a bit sad that it wasn't Maplenose, but Cinderleaf was still a really good choice for deputy! And even though her idol was her sister, Cinderleaf might just have been her second choice.

"Cinderleaf!" Maplenose excitedly said, joining in the cheer with her Clanmates. She let the fur and of her and her sister brush. She knew her sister was a bit disappointed, but Maplenose was still happy for Cinderleaf either way,
